We are a boutique full service accounting firm who’s founders have regional and big four experience who provide excellent and high level services at a fraction of the cost of the larger regional firms.

The firm was established in 1992 and was founded by Joel Levy, CPA, who has over 25 years experience focusing on business and and individual tax strategies, planning and preparation with specialization in personal financial planning. During 2007, two additional partners joined the firm, David Lanter,CPA and Alex Leonardo, CPA.

David Lanter, CPA, has over 20 years accounting and tax experience.  Mr. Lanter has managed various CPA firms and his experience includes but not limited to representing taxpayers that have been selected for IRS audits, negotiating and reducing and/or waiving IRS penalties and interest assessments, expert litigation witness, multi-state tax preparation, partnerships, preparation and setup of nonprofit organizations, business valuation, developing and managing legal tax strategies for high net worth individuals.  Clients include professional athletes,  developers, restaurant business owners, and much more.

Alex Leonardo, CPA, has over 15 years accounting and auditing experience.  Mr. Leonardo has worked as a controller for various companies in the construction, property management, import/export, franchise, outsourcing, and nonprofit industries.  Mr. Leonardo was also a lead auditor at the prestigious firm Deloitte  & Touché “big four” where he managed financial, SOX and 401k audit engagements for public companies in the pharmaceutical, retail, and manufacturing sectors.  Current clients include aerospace, manufacturing, and prominent nonprofit organizations.

Rick Captain, CPA, has over 25 years’ experience as an audit manager, as well as a controller, regional controller and CFO in manufacturing and construction, leading teams in mergers and acquisitions, MRP and ERP implementations, and development of strategic business and operational plans. Mr. Captain has audited residential and commercial real estate developers, property management companies, private investment entities, not-for-profit organizations, construction contractors and subcontractors, common interest realty associations (CIRA’s), HUD properties, 401(k) plans, hotels, restaurants, and shopping malls. Engagements of note include audits of the largest indoor shopping mall in the southeastern U.S., the general contractor constructing the Fontainebleau Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, and the largest residential commercial and residential developer in South Florida.
